I had a great time. Very educational especially the GENOCIDE MEMORIAL. Truely loved the trekking of gorillas in both Uganda end Rwanda. Every part of Africa is its own Beautiful Place. Will return.
Comment about driver: Yes, make sure the driver is Sam - he was very punctual, knowledgable, very polite, and has good sense of humor.

Best Holiday in Africa (14th March - 05th April 2011)

We finally have a moment to let you know that all is wonderful in Zanzibar! We now understand the enormous complexity and the organization required to put a journey like this together- for which we thank you!
We are seating by the beach digesting all that we have seen and done over the past couple of weeks. We are still a little overwhelmed. The trip has been without any problem and we will be in touch when we get home. But in the meanwhile thanks alot for making it so smooth. Great holiday it has been.

Uganda Gorilla Trek: (12th April - 14th April 2011)

Godwin was an ideal host, careful with his driving, solicitous about our comfort and well-being, and axious to share information with us about his country. Godwin was a perfect host.
I dealt with the company by email in arranging this visit, and was impressed with the way all my questions were dealt with. It was particulary helpful for Godwin and Betty to visit our address in Kampala before the trip began, To go over some of the details - as well as collecting the balance. Beautiful Country - Beautiful Animal World

My name is Igor, I - from Russia. Three months ago my family has got the enormous pleasure from journey in Kenya with Tourist Company African Secrets. All time, as from meeting in in Airport, before return back into Airport was is well organized. The Safari was is well planned, not heavy moving, all animals and birds about which we could dream we saw. The Beautiful landscapes, voice predators, shouts of the hyenas - all this so interesting. Our guide Denis whole road told us about animal world Kenya and about national parks. He is a beautiful guide on safari. Many thanks for nice manager Patricia. Mt Kilimanjaro Peak Climbing - March 2011

We enjoyed every bit of the safari and the accommodations. Each had its own unique characteristics. Amboseli was too dusty this time of year. Mt Kilimanjaro was never clear. Our safari coordinator, Henry, was very helpful. We felt he went out of his way to make our trip the wonderful time that it was.

Wonderful Bird Watching February 2011

Absolutely amazing!! The program was well conceived and locations were well selected. Our guides and drivers were professional and exceedingly well knowledgeable about east Africa and its birding life. The accommodations were comfortable and meals interesting - "lots of choices to choose from". The roads were a little tough. We would have loved to fly to some of the locations.

Driver guide was completely competent. Very good - very knowledgable - a gem!
Incredibly accomodating and professional, non-judgemental generous and enthusiastic - non-imposing - Nasser was the best! Recommend giving him a raise!!!
Consider us to be responsible tour operators? Absolutely. Excellent communication from our 1st inquiry to the last moment of the tour - this is why we chose African Secrets. Loved the flexibility of the tour.
Wish it had been longer - all lodges were different but exceptional!!

Amboseli Park and Masai Mara Tour (17th - 19th November 2010)

Best time we ever had! African Secrets Limited was so helpful and enthustic and made us feel at home.

Stayed in the best hotels/lodges in Amboseli (Amboseli Sopa Lodge) and Masai Mara (Mara Serena Lodge), were we didn’t have one single problem concerning the hospitality service cleanness…

The Big 5 - The Big Safari Story!!

The Mara was amazing. We saw the big 5 plus so much more! All the accommodations were great, but Siana Springs was clearly the best!! Our guide James was very knowledgeable about everything from the culture to birds and animals. He was always polite and forgiving even when we were late. His driving skills are amazing. He should be a Nascar driver. We felt very safe all the time. He was always on time “we were never on time" Smile. James was a great help with everything. He made sure we saw lots of all the big cats which ,ade our experience amazing. The vehicle was great! We had all the room we needed. It was very spacious. We made it messy, but James kept it clean all the time.

Mountain Gorilla Trek in Bwindi National Park - 16 May 2010

Got back from my 4 day gorilla trek in Bwindi and had the time of my life. African Secrets is a legitimate tour company providing excellent service.
The Gorilla Resort was a nice eco friendly lodge. I had a large luxury tent with a toilet and bathtub (there are really no "resorts" so to speak in Bwindi). Electricity is minimal so they gave me a flashlight to use at night. One of the highlights (besides seeing the gorillas) was taking a bath after the trek and sitting there looking out into the forest with the mist coming across the forest. Another added bonus was that an additional activity after the gorilla trek was included in my tour (choice of a community walk, hike to the waterfalls, or a hike up the mountain for a scenic view of Uganda, Rwanda, and Democratic Republic of Congo) I did the community walk and the hike to the waterfalls, both were nice end to a day of gorilla trekking.
